Our latest Cancer Care Jávea fundraising event was a little different from our usual coffee morning, but what a fantastic afternoon it turned out to be!
A huge thank you to the lovely couple Theresa and Brian, who opened their home at Los Abetos, La Sella, and organised a wonderful afternoon of fun, food and fundraising.
With well over 25 guests attending, representing a mix of nationalities, mainly American, Spanish and British, there was plenty of laughter, friendly competition and community spirit.
Theresa and Brian thought of everything, from the food and refreshments to the specially printed serviettes and even a trophy 
.
.There were also generous donations from people who couldn’t attend but still wanted to support the cause.
And the fantastic result? €675 raised for Cancer Care Jávea! 
Held in place of our usual coffee morning, this was such a lovely alternative, and we’re delighted to hear it will now become an annual event!
A massive thank you to Theresa and Brian for their generosity, hard work and hospitality, and to everyone who attended or donated.
Good food, great company and a very worthy cause!
