This Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we want to share positive stories of hope, support and life after cancer.

Today, we are delighted to introduce Louise Hawker, who has kindly agreed to share her experience with us.

Looking back on her cancer journey, Louise reflects on just how important the right support can be during one of life’s most difficult times.

“Cancer Care Jávea / Together were there for me when I needed them most, helping with translations, keeping track of appointments, checking in on me after surgery, and providing constant reassurance.

I will always be deeply grateful for their kindness and care. They helped me see that there is life, hope, and happiness after cancer.”

And today? Louise is embracing life, looking forward to the future and making wonderful new memories, including a special trip to South Korea!

Her story is a beautiful reminder that, although a cancer diagnosis can change your life, it does not take away the possibility of future adventures, happiness and new beginnings.

We are incredibly grateful to Louise for sharing her story and hope it brings comfort and encouragement to anyone currently going through their own cancer journey.
