14.36 The President of the association, Mrs. Jeannette Missons, welcomed the attendees.
14.36 La Presidenta de la Asociación, Sra. Jeannette Missons da la bienvenida a los asistentes.

14.38 In reference to the voting of the committee members of the Association, realised at the EGM on the 24thApril 2025 and due to the resignation of Mrs. Jayne Nuttall Blake as the president of the association following positions were unanimously voted:

14.38 En referencia a la votación de los miembros del comité de la Asociación, realizada en la Junta General Extraordinaria del 24 de abril de 2025 y debido a la dimisión de la Sra. Jayne Nuttall Blake como presidente de la asociación, se ha procedido a la reelección de cargos y se han votado por unanimidad los siguientes cargos:

Todos los votos que han sido delegados votaron a Jeanette Missons como presidente y a Wendy Main como secretaria.
- Rebranding / Name of Charity.
- Cambio de logotipo /marca y nombre del Charity.
Jeannette explains that “Cancer Care Together” is the name which has been allowed by the authorities, she showed the new logo/brand to the attendees and all agreed to the new logo/brand and name unanimously.
Jeannette explica que «Cancer Care Together» es el nombre que han aprobado las autoridades y muestra el nuevo logotipo a los asistentes y todos aprueban por unanimidad el nuevo logotipo/marca y el nuevo nombre.
- Change of statutes.
4.Modificación de estatutos.
It is explained that the reason for the change of the statues is due to removal of a clause in which it was stated that the nurse in charge of the Cancer Care Nurses Team, had to be a qualified nurse. Now any person without qualification can be in charged.
Kaye states hands out the original and new statutes, which were already sent to the members of the association per e-mail.
The change to the statutes was voted unanimously.
Se explica que el motivo del cambio en los estatutos se debe a la eliminación de una cláusula en la que se establecía que la enfermera encargada del equipo de enfermeras de Cancer Care debía ser una enfermera titulada. Ahora cualquier persona puede ser la encargada ya que con el cambio de los estatutos no es necesario que la persona encargada sea una enfermera titulada.
Kaye entrega los estatutos anteriores y los nuevos modificados, que ya se enviaron a los miembros de la asociación por correo electrónico.
El cambio en los estatutos ha sido votado por unanimidad.
- Up-date on charity and Cancer Care Nursing Team.
- Actualización sobre el equipo de enfermería.
Some of the nurses have left, Alison and Paula are still working for the Charity and tomorrow there will be an interview with another new nurse.
Jeannette introduces Elaine to the attendees, she has been working in Cancer research and she was a cancer nurse, Dr. Climent has a meeting with her about ECMOR, as he would like to come to Javea to make a video to explain to the people at his seminars to put a face to Cancer Care, so that they also will know where the money is coming from.
Regarding the fund raising, there was a fair, a fashion show and a baking of cakes which went really well and the next upcoming events are concert and 2 fairs one in the port with the City Council and the other one with XIC, to make people aware of the existence of “Cancer Care Together”.
Javea Players still want to work with “Cancer Care Together” and Jeannette comments that there will be some collabortion sharing information to be placed on the respective databases of various associations.
Kaye explains the back round of the happening of matters since the last EGM, like the website and the new e-mail addresses.
Algunas de las enfermeras se han dado de baja pero Alison y Paula siguen trabajando para la organización benéfica y mañana habrá una entrevista con una posible nueva enfermera.
Jeannette presenta a Elaine a los asistentes, que ha trabajado en la investigación del cáncer y era enfermera oncológica. El Dr. Climent ha tenido una reunión con ella sobre ECMOR, y ha comentado que le gustaría seguir colaborando con ellos y que planea venir a Jávea para grabar un vídeo de los miembros de “Cancer Care Together” en el que explicará a los asistentes de los seminarios que él realiza, para informarles de dónde proviene el dinero que recibe como donación de “Cancer Care Together” para financiar el trabajo de investigación.
En cuanto a la recaudación de fondos, se celebró una feria, un desfile de moda y una venta de pasteles que tuvieron mucho éxito, y los próximos eventos son un concierto y dos ferias, una en el puerto con el Ayuntamiento y otra con XIC, para dar a conocer la existencia de “Cancer Care Together”.
“Jávea Players”, el grupo de teatro, sigue queriendo colaborar con “Cancer Care Together” y Jeannette comenta que habrá algunas cooperaciones para intercambiar las bases de datos de varias asociaciones.
Kaye explica los antecedentes de lo sucedido desde la última Junta General Extraordinaria, como la nueva página web y las nuevas direcciones de correo electrónico.

15.00 Alison asks how people will know the connection between Lynwen Nurses and “Cancer Care Together”
Kaye explains that at some point the name “Lynwen Nurses” will disappear.
Public relations will be gradually done to remove the name as “Cancer Care Together” is not in control of the Facebook page.
It is recommended that the “Cancer Care Together” nurses should be introduced to the clients of the shops by placing a picture of the team in the shops.
The rebranding has been made with the purpose of putting the donations together and to link the shops and nurses.
The biggest plus now is that all events are organized together, not separate by shop. Now everything is all under one umbrella, all working together.
It is asked if the donations are only going to be for cancer.
The donations can be made to other organizations, not only to Cancer Care nurses.
Jeannette said we should use the volunteers differing skill sets and ask for help needed for certain administrative matters.
It is mentioned Paula will be the lead-nurse.
There will be an event at the XIC to explain to the children about what CCT does and also informing the parents associations. With the purpose to encourage them to get involved in the future.
15.00 Alison pregunta cómo sabrá la gente la conexión entre Lynwen Nurses y «Cancer Care Together».
Kaye explica que, en algún momento, el nombre «Lynwen Nurses» desaparecerá.
Se llevarán a cabo acciones de relaciones públicas para eliminar gradualmente el nombre, ya que «Cancer Care Together» no controla la página de Facebook de «Lynwen Nurses» .
Se recomienda presentar a las enfermeras de «Cancer Care Together» a los clientes de las tiendas, colocando una foto del equipo de enfermeras, en las tiendas.
El cambio de marca se ha realizado con el fin de reunir las donaciones y vincular las tiendas y las enfermeras.
La mayor ventaja ahora es que todos los eventos se organizan conjuntamente, y no por separado por tienda. Ahora todo está bajo un mismo paraguas, y todos trabajan juntos.
Se pregunta si las donaciones se destinarán únicamente al cáncer.
Las donaciones pueden hacerse a otras organizaciones, no solo a las destinadas al cáncer.
Jeannette pregunta si hay voluntarios para impartir formación si se necesita ayuda para determinados asuntos administrativos.
Se menciona que Paula será la enfermera encargada.
Se celebrará un evento en el XIC para explicar a los niños a qué se dedica la asociación “Cancer Care Together” e informar también a las asociaciones de padres de alumnos. El objetivo es animar a los niños para participar en el futuro en actividades del tipo de la asociación.
